Amazing and Cool Adventure Time Cosplay Fionna Marceline Princess Bubblegum cosplay

What Time is it? It’s Cosplay Time! This hilarious and adorable trio of cosplayers are.. CourtoonXIII as Fionna the Human, Chinasaur as Marceline the Vampire Queen, and CatalystSirene as Princess Bubblegum. Each costume has an amazing amount of detail and stays true to the character. Best of all is that the Fionna, Marceline, and the Princess Bubblegum have props. Great looking props, may we add. The Bass Axe  looks as if it’s been used. The Peppermint Butler plush is just too cute and a great idea for any Princess Bubblegum cosplay. While as Fionna’s Crystal Sword also is fantastic. The skin colors are perfect also… The Princess Bubblegum cosplay isn’t super pink and the Marceline cosplay isn’t too grey. They made the colors seem realistic.

Adventure Time is an American animated television series created by Pendleton Ward for Cartoon Network. The series  follows the adventures of Finn, a 14-year-old human boy, and his best friend Jake, a dog with magical powers to change shape, grow, and shrink at will.  Adventure Time even has it’s own comic book series.

  1. Hello there!

I think that these costumes are fantastic! I was actually thinking of going as Marceline to the next cosplay, but I am having trouble finding gray that isn’t “too gray” as you say. Do you have any idea what this girl used? Thanks!

    • Hi,

We’re not sure what Chinasaur uses for her body paint, however though, we do know that Snazaroo is an excellent water based body paint. No problem.

    • Hello Mochi!

I’m not quite sure what the cosplayer featured here used exactly, but seeing as I’ve cosplayed with grey skin multiple times before, I thought I’d give you some tips!

Cosplayer suggested Snazaroo brand, and I’d definitely recommend it. It’s easy to use, and already comes in the perfect grey colour, no mixing required. It also self-seals. But be warned that Snazaroo is notorious for not sealing too well, so be sure to coat it in baby powder before going out. Another thing is that Snazaroo is a brand specifically marketed for children, so expect the quality to be at that level.

Now my favourite brand to use, and an extremely popular one in the cosplaying and theatre community is Ben Nye. The quality is unmatched by any other brand I’ve tried so far. For the grey colour that you’re looking for, you’ll want to use the “creme liners”, 1 part Grey and 1 part White. To seal, you should buy the Neutral Set setting powder and the Final Seal spray, both also by Ben Nye. These two items are extremely important though, as without them, your cosplay will be rubbing off EVERYWHERE, and that’s an easy way to make people dislike you.

I hope this helped a bit! If you have any more questions, just shoot me a message at my tumblr:
