Fans of the Gundam series will be delighted to see some new features for the upcoming PS3 and Vita title, Gundam Breakers. The video below demonstrates how you can actually mix and match parts from different Gundams and mobile suits to create unique combinations. The mobile suits in the Gundam Breakers can be tweaked down to their head, body, arms, legs, backpack, shield, close-range and far-range weapons, optional parts, and parts called “Ex-acts” and “modules.” The results can be funny and cool and often powerful.

Gundam Breakers is a fighting and action game based on Gunpla, the hobby of building and playing with Gundam model kits. Namco Bandai is publishing the game for PS3 and PS Vita. It’s scheduled for release in Japan sometime in 2013. No US release details have been announced yet.
The Doctor, Matt Smith, and Clara, Jenna-Louise Coleman, will be premiering in Part 2 of Doctor Who’s season 7, Saturday, March 30 on BBC America (during their Supernatural Saturday block). It was also announced to be aired, alongside BBC America’s new original sci-fi series Orphan Black and the comedy talk show The Nerdist. The 2012 Doctor Who Christmas special left us with a terrible cliff hanger, of ‘Who is Clara Oswin Oswald?’. I’m happy to say that I predicted the amazing ending to that Doctor Who Christmas special; I’m so glad they kept her as the casserole making dalek!
You can look forward to filling your Doctor Who craving this weekend, Sunday, February 24, as there will be another Doctor Who: The Doctors Revisited special for The Second Doctor. As part of Doctor Who’s 50th Anniversary celebration, and in case you missed The First Doctor’s TV Special it will rerun on the same day as the premiere of The Second’s.
Happy 50th Anniversary Doctor Who and may you have many many more timelord filled years. (The officialDoctor Who 50th Anniversary is November 23, 2013)
Am I right? But seriously, both of these Dragon Ball Z cosplays are quite good. Although they don’t appear to be cosplaying specific characters, the DBZ Saiyan vibe is strong with these two. One of the things I thought was particularly good is the armor on both people. The male’s chest piece is very detailed looking and has a tough, armor like look. The female’s armor is more traditional in appearance to the show. The boots are simple and functional, as is the arm wear. To top it all off, they’re both wearing fashionable scouters.
Dragon Ball Z was originally created by Akira Toriyama in the mid 90s as a direct continuation of his Dragon Ball manga series. It eventually got adapted into an anime series and some years later was translated and dubbed for US audiences. It’s considered one of the first really popular anime to make it big in the United States along with Sailor Moon.
We don’t know who the cosplayers are, but we found the pic on Tumblr.
Brand new screenshots and features have been announced for the upcoming fighting game JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: All Star Battle. The game is based off the anime and manga series, JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure by Hirohiko Araki, and is being developed by Cyberconnect2. Cyberconnect2 should not be an unfamiliar name for otaku and gamers alike since they’re also the studio behind Asura’s Wrath, the Naruto Shippuden & Ninja Storm series, and the .Hack series. So far, JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: All Star Battle has only been announced for Japanese audiences and will also be available in a special edition format which features golden packaging called the Gold Experience. A few new screens from JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: All Star Battle…
As you can see, the game rides out the manga/hand drawn aesthetic that the original stories were known for. The animation and action is fluid and entertaining. The gameplay, while rendered in 3D, harkens back to 2D fighting games, specifically the Capcom made JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure arcade game, circa 1998. This is absolutely a good thing, because that game nailed it. We really hope Namco Bandai bring it stateside.
This is a Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess Link cosplay, done by ChelseyCosplay in the US. Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess was released back in 2006 for both the Wii and Nintendo GameCube. She debuted her amazing Link cosplay in January of 2013. This Legend of Zelda cosplay looks like it just came out of the game, from the boots to the Master Sword. Here are some more photos of her Link cosplay….
What we like about this cosplay
1- The amazing detail put into the materials of this cosplay.. Her boots and gloves look leather, her gauntlets look as if they could take quite a few attacks from Ganon himself, and the shield is a work of art.
2- The Makeup and finer details.. You can see she took the time to get the pointed ears and to make sure they really do look like her real skin. ChesleyCosplay did an amazing makeup work, too. She really does look like Link if he were real.
3- The props complete the costume.. The fact that her Master Sword and shield look authentic is amazing. It’s always great to have a really good prop to go along with your cosplay and of the photography along with it.
