While doing our daily Cosplay seeking we came across cosplayer xVanguardx and his Cosplay.com profile. xVanguardx is a Dragon Ball Z fan. No really, check out his Great Ape / Oozaru DBZ Cosplay. He has 2 variations of it, one with Bartok’s black and green Saiyan armor and also one with Vegeta’s Saiyan armor and cape.

Worth noting is that he made this cool DBZ costume in only a weeks time! The head is mostly made out of cardboard with various other materials for the rest of the costume.

We discovered this Taiwanese Gundam cosplayer thanks to Kotaku. Writer Brian Ashcraft dubbed her the “Queen of Gundam Cosplay.” This is certainly a fitting title. In the photos below you can see her cosplaying as different Gundams including Gundam RX79, MSΖ-006 and Strike Gundam.

Whether you are a fan of the Mobile Suit Gundam franchise or not I’m pretty sure we can all agree that her mecha cosplay has a flavor of its own. It demonstrates strong mechanical design combined with her natural human appearance. One can also observe her attention to detail and respect for the series since she has each of the Gundam’s weapons as seen in their respective anime’s.

These pictures were found on a Japanese cosplay community site called Cure. We’re not sure of this cosplayer’s name as the character “” in Chinese (the language of Taiwan) is “Ran” but in Japanese (the native language of CureCos.com), the same character sounds like “Shika“…

Check out her profile on Cure Cosplay Community.

Costume : Ryuk
Series: Death Note

This week we are featuring Ryuk, cosplayer is Tatterhood from Canada. We found this costume to be amazing.

Humpty Dumpty

This mask really looks  like the Ryuk  from Death Note.

Cheese!

Death Note ( Desu Nōto) is a Japanese manga series created by writer Tsugumi Ohba and manga artist Takeshi Obata.
The main character is Light Yagami, a high school student who discovers a supernatural notebook, the “Death Note”, dropped on Earth by a shinigami (a god of death) named Ryuk.

Juicy

Humans are interesting

The Death Note grants its user the ability to kill anyone whose name and face they know, by writing the name in the notebook while picturing their face. The series centers around Light’s attempt to create and rule a world “cleansed of evil” as “God” using the notebook, and the efforts of a detective known as L to stop him.
